I thought the first one beat the crap out of the second one.. even though i quite enjoyed reloaded. The first Matrix had the advantage though because it introduced a new concept and so on, but it also seemed a lot less linear than reloaded, which followed the order of "find Oracle and listen to her speech, find French Guy, listen to his speech, find architect, listen to his speech." The only thing that really blew my mind like the first one was the whole sermon about Neo and the 6 versions of the matrix thing.. but i never really understood it... so im gonna have to agree with Liam. The first one was better.

Yeah, it wasn't necessary, but it does explain why Persephone decided to help our heroes get to the Keymaker.

A lot of the elements of the story could have been done better though.. the last matrix actually had substance between all the super cool fight scenes.

i don't understand why people are getting so bent out of shape over the sex scene. so what? it's like you people have never seen sex before. i don't understand why people will go see a movie and give raves about all the violence, but show distaste at the sex.

sex is beautiful. it creates life. violence destroys it. i find it very ironic that you can tolerate violence, but not sex.
