Probably a mistake from pledge...now i log in my account and i can't download anything...nor Somethingness nor Drop Me In The Water, however i managed to download the EP before it was taken down...now i'm going out, however if Matt agrees maybe we can share it between us...however also @todddowney probably got it

What's your first impression of what you've heard from EP1?

I love it. Since it debuted live, DMITW has been a favorite. I also loved hiding place when they played it during the facebook session last summer. They nailed that one, too. It just builds and builds. Nice to meet you is really cool as well. Has a great flow to it.

I remember an interview where Raine was talking about new material (back in 2014) and said falling into place was one of his favorite songs. Also very good. Shoot me your email in a PM.

The studio version of hiding place has some of the best raine vocals i've heard in a long time. Piano is great too.

Falling into place is very U2. In some ways it reminds me more of Raines solo stuff. It's got that "AFAYC" feel.

Nice to meet you is reminiscent of the later 2000's OLP, while utilizing some early era OLP vocals.

Whole EP feels a little more modern while using some of the older stylistically OLP touches we've missed for a while.

Hiding Place for Hearts sounded terrific on the Facebook stream they did as that was with very poor audio quality. I can't wait to hear the studio version with some decent headphones on!

My impressions...well Drop Me In the Water is probably the most rocking song of the EP...Hiding Place For Hearts gaves me chills...Raine is really really amazing here and also the mix and everything are really good...for the other two songs..well like someone told before finally we have a "shining" Raine in terms of vocal...the production on the songs is amazing but i find the songs too "pop" and for example the beginning of "Falling into place" seems a Raine's solo song and not OLP...i have not listened the songs through headphones (i'll do after this post) then i think that i'm still missing something...however pretty satisfied with the EP but i can tell that after the single i was expecting something not better but at least "rock"...well i don't know how to explain

Hiding Place and Nice to Meet You were great. Falling into Place was okay. Those vocals are amazing in Hiding. I like this weird new direction they're taking overall.
