Long acoustic intro of Clumsy recording

Post by ivewaited »

I have this somewhere on my old computer, in a different state, at my parents house, 1000 something miles away but I've been dying to listen to it again. These versions are from two nights in Vancouver when they were touring HIPT I'm pretty sure. Raine is playing acoustic guitar alone and Steve is doing some really simple dreamy melodic stuff underneath then the band comes in.. During the bridge raine makes the crowd sing and it's SO loud.. Such a great live moment.

Does anyone have this on hand that they could please send me?
and if i don't make it know that i've loved you all along.

Fun fact: a bunch of CMers played kazoo in the audience on night 2.

I can dig these up for you sometime if someone doesn't beat me to it.

I'll get you set up. Raine is on acoustic, Steve is on Rhodes keys, and Joel is doing the trippy guitar stuff.

Always great when Joel Shearer was tagging along. He definitely brought an exciting dynamic to live performances.
I will try to find the link to the much music takeover they did during HIPT where Shearer kills it on supermans dead.

I always enjoyed the extended outright they did with Joel. Superman's Dead was a great main set closer.

It's probably more evident in Nikki's recording than mine. In the original 3 source mix it's probably evident too.
