Added both songs to the CM's downloads page:

Allowance is from the audio stream but Heavyweight is from youtube which had better audio -- both done without any re-encoding so they're the best quality possible.

Anyone have a direct download for Allowance? The MP3 just gets me to the quicktime audio. I want a copy?

Re: General OLP News
OLP will be performing at 102.1 EDGE prior to their performance at the Phoenix next Tuesday. Unfortunately it isn't until 7:15pm so I don't think I'll be able to make it as I will be in line for the show.

Re: General OLP News
Did anyone else hear Raine say in one of the recent interviews that OLP owns their own masters again? Did he mean ALL masters dating back to Naveed, or just the masters since they've been indie?

I think he did say that, possibly in the Q interview? If it's all the masters maybe there is hope for some b-sides from way back.

It was in the Q interview, and he seemed to mean they own their new new music.

That's what I thought he meant at first, but if I remember his quote correctly, he said something to the effect of, "Now that we own all of our masters...."
Pretty vague, and could be taken either way. I'm hoping for the more literal interpretation. Maybe we'll see "Trapeze" after all someday.

Re: General OLP News
Just read on .com that the next stretch of shows has to be rescheduled....Raine blew out his vocal cords in Peterborough last night. This really sucks...
Re: General OLP News
Fuck! Just when they're looking so good. My boss isn't gonna let me take off those days that are rescheduled.
This is what we get, with you guys complaining about his vocals. Way to jinx the man, guys.

Re: General OLP News
I heard Raine will NOT be rejoining OLP AT ALL, but the dates have been rescheduled to give the band time to rehearse with replacement singer Rich Misener???
I heard there's a rehearsal video of them working on Everyone's A Junkie but I can't find the link. If anyone has it can they post it?

And it's official. Posted at Much: http://www.muchmusic.com/ourladypeace-front-man-to-take-leave
Our Lady Peace front man, Raine Maida. will be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the band do to a torn vocal chord from the band's performance at Peterborough . The band is in the process of rescheduling shows with a substitute vocalist, Richard Misener of Toronto. "We're deeply saddened that Raine won't be joining us, but it'll also be an amazing experience working with Rich. Such a great musician." said bassist Duncan Coutts. Jeremy Taggart, drummer for the name, didn't share the same feelings, "This Misener guy has been following us around to every show for the last few years, he's a freak. But maybe that'll give us an edge as a band." Stay with us here at Much Music for more information.
Dammit. Now What am I gonna do with all these days I took off. The band owes me the money I would have been paid!
I found this Misener fellow. Is he even a real vocalist?! What were they thinking?
