Very impressive Johnny!
I'm down about 35 or 40 lbs from my highest point, but up about 12 or 15 from my wedding.
Most of that weight came during the honeymoon though. Mmm all inclusive.

Yeah but then we could order up some of the included room service to get our midnight snack served with amazingly delicious coconut milk, the best damn hot chocolate I've ever had, and Frangelico on the rocks.

We went to Cancun and stayed at Le Blanc Spa Resort for 10 nights. The whole thing cost us $4500, (that includes $1,000 on airfare from the west coast). It was the off-season in Cancun when we went so the resort had some great deals, and it wasn't too busy. The price was pretty awesome considering food from any of the resorts' restaurants (some very good food!), a large variety of drinks, 24 hour room service, and gratuity. I believe at a typical all-inclusive resort tips are still expected from the help.
They had activities or shows in the evening most days, and also gave us a $1500 credit that could be used towards excursions or (a portion of it) at their spa. With that credit we got a couples' massage (relaxing), drove motorboats to the reef and went snorkeling (fun), went to Chichen Itza (fun but the bus ride was long), went to Xcaret (fun), and went to Isla Mujeres (waste of a day unless you want to pay extra to do the activities they have there).
Another good thing is Le Blanc is an adults only resort, so it's quiet and no kids running around. They're part of a chain of resorts in Cancun and you can visit any of them during your stay just as if you were staying at the other resort -- except Le Blanc -- if you stay there you can get into their other resorts, but people from the other resorts can't get into Le Blanc. Also, each floor has a butler.
If you go somewhere tropical and touristy, pack a lot of sunscreen in your checked baggage. It'll be $20/bottle when you get there. If you're going to be swimming near reefs or with dolphins, get biodegradable sunscreen.
Definitely recommend that place!

Thanks for the info
We've ruled out Mexico (I refuse to take any chances, even in the tourist areas), but we are looking at tropical/beachy. I'm hoping to find an all-inclusive in Hawaii but if not we may hit up Jamaica or the USVI.

Not sure what date you're getting married, but be sure to keep hurricane season in mind for Jamaica / USVI. Kym researched the hurricane belt when we were picking a destination and determined that Cancun is outside the path that hurricanes typically find their way into, unlike a lot of the islands in the Caribbean that we were considering. Our flight on the way there actually had to take an alternate route around a storm, but in Cancun the weather was good most days... one day was pretty windy, and there were showers on a few days. But when it did rain, it was warm rain which was kind of neat for a while.
Probably I couldn't convince you to reconsider, but Cancun seemed pretty safe. One or two of the shuttle services for the excursions we went on were a little sketchy, but most of the resorts are located together on a strip of land with not much else around (the "Hotel Zone"). All you probably have to worry about would be the cocodrilos. There are a lot of other places in the world I want to travel to, but I'm sure someday we'll be going back to stay at Le Blanc in Cancun again.
Although if I wanted to wander around / explore unescorted, I probably would feel safer in Hawaii for example. But walking at night in the Hotel Zone I felt safer than I have walking at night in LA, Seattle, Portland, or New York.

Haha - that was a funny read - could you imagine what the tweets would be if "Our Lady of the Peace" ever won that award! What gets me is the people who say award shows mean nothing - but then proceed to bitch about who won.
But I love me some Arcadia Fire...

Hi guys! So I've had a myriad of PC issues and had to crank up the old desktop. My other is stuck in a restart loop, and I can't seem to find my Windows disk anywhere. Additionally, I had a hard drive that went bad and I had to send it off since it had wedding and baby pictures. Physical failure on the drive, and will cost between $1200-$1700 for recovery. Yay! Additionally, my store is preparing for inventory Thursday so I am on day 6 of 12. Good times.

Ack, hopefully they can get your photos back! When one of Kym's hard drives died last year we thought it had the only copy of almost all of our pictures and we were starting to look into data recovery options, but luckily I found a copy of them on another drive.
I'm starting to have a lot of PC problems too, mostly because my desktop is 7 years old. I think it's almost time to rebuild.

The other desktop's main hard drive failed. Good times. It appears the data recovery company has salvaged pretty much everything from the drive I sent them. Unfortunately it's 1700 dollars for parts and labor. I'm pretty sure I'm going to buy a solid state drive for the master. No moving parts = win.
