I think only once.

is that online or on tv.. I tried to go back to link. It said not found. The wedsite is always doing webcast.. I was hoping they had it in archives somewhere.
You can also adopt a polar bear. Next time I get paid going to do it.

good that there is achance will show up on youtube. I think when I went to George's site got teh message "contains content not shown in your area or something like that"
I do not understand that now. If it is called the WORLD WIDE WEB why is it restricted in some parts of world.

Copyright laws. Just like if you try and watch certain music videos on OLP's "official" youtube page from the United States. Sony Canada has the rights to show it to their country but not outside the country, such as the US, because Sony USA holds the rights to those.

Wow... can she let someone talk without cutting in... EVER?

I didn't get that from the clip. The Dr did most of the talking. You should know that Raine is quiet. It has only been recently where he has been more vocal in media.. I was surprised how much press h e did talking for the solo and last OLP cd..
Last year a friend and I spoke to him about twitter. This was just after he came on> He said it was good for him.I will agree. I th ink he can be himself without saying alot. Letting others( whether friends or websites do the talking)

Fuck the polar bears. Save the seals.
That is in Inuit.( the Anti-Seal)
All kidding aside years ago saw a special on Caribous. They showed them migrating when pregnant to have their offsprings. How teh famales traveled hundreds of miles to have their babies. It also showed white wolves that only live on Caribou food. How the males would hunt for them. YOu did not know who to really feel for . The baby wolves or the baby caribous. The mother caribous will leave them behind if they do not follow.. They do not care for other babies like alot of other species will do..The wolves did not have food.
When I see those things it is a vicious cycle that goes on and on.. Where man chooses to kill animals.

I love when they ask Raine what he's does to reduce his carbon footprint and he rambles on about coming here to learn instead of answering the question. Even when George tries to guide him to the answer. lol. Typical Raine.... never really answering a question. He was probably that kid that told stories in first grade instead of answering the question. "yes, Michael, very interesting but I was asking about_______. Can you please answer the question and we can share that later." lol

I was surprised he said he never really been there before. I know Chantal has..
It was interesting for me to watch cause I knew all about Churchill and the polar bears. You could do trips there. Been trying to get up there for the last 4 years.. I actually have a friend who lives not that far from CHurchill and the Bay..
I was surprised she mentioned sending the kids lunches in plastic bags. I thought she was saying it in a joke like manner. They both are such advocates for being green. Maybe I misheard what she was talking about though. It is so true though. people leave lights on all the time when they are not in the room .. I keep the lights out in my apt all the time..

No, I don't think you misheard. She did say that the teacher tells the kids they don't like it when she sends plastic bags. She should buy those plastic sandwich containers. Maybe it was something that only happened once and she just thought it would be a good example.

I'm not sure how anyone can deny that global warming exists. I think we just don't want to admit that we've done wrong to our planet. I was surprised to learn that what's happening isn't natural at all. I always thought it was a combination of us and nature but one of the Dr.'s said the planet should actually be getting cooler.
On a less serious note: @George for telling Raine the polar bear was coming to get him. I was wondering why Chantal thought only Lucca would be concerned that daddy was about to get eaten.

It's now George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight, or G-Stro Tonite for short haha. I don't like it nearly as much as the Hour. I miss the old comedic segments, the extras, and his longer rambles.
I love George-Raine combos. Throw in Benjamin Kowalewicz, and I'll cry with joy.
Ah yes, but the new title is just annoyingly long. I liked The Hour better and will likely not stop calling it that for some time! I too love George-Raine combo...a little Ben would make it a party! lol
