I had a chance to speak to OLP management (Coalition Entertainment) about the tour, and about the B-side disc we have all been begging for. While the band, and their management are aware how much we want it, they talked to me about all the red tape that would be involved in making it happen. There would be a large amount of legal work to be done, and odds are that Sony would have final say on what gets put out, since they own the master recordings.
The LED backgrounds...no, they just aren't as good as the last tour.

Pearl Jam boots are cheap if you buy the MP3 version, and still a reasonable 15 to 16 bucks for FLAC, not to mention once the band stops selling them they allow the fanbase to distribute them between one another.

That is just one of the many reasons why I love PJ.
I only see the PJ bootlegs for around 20 bucks. After buying most of my CDs for 50 cents each, that's pretty expensive!
I highly recommend the Seattle show (I own that one). It would be worth the money!

Me too. Joel also brought a lot to the table on that tour. They sounded full and lovely.
I guess when I say weak live performance, I only associate it with Raine's voice. Both Joel and Jamie Edwards were great additions to the band. However, I am a Mike Turner fan, so I miss his guitar work to this day.
I think Steve deserves the most credit for this tour. Coming up with the idea, and then actually learning most of these songs from scratch. One of the nicest guys I've ever met.

P. S I have been seeing OLP live since 1997 and every year they get better and better live. As Josh said the Burn Burn shows were amazing. I think SM was their best tour. ( not that BB wasn't).Those songs take on a life of their own live which is why to see the whole cd done from start to finish is exciting. After seeing the show Sat They did not disappoint..Kudos to them.

I'm really hoping for Naveed/Happiness too. Naveed isn't too much of a stretch since that's the other one they wanted to do in the first place... So if we get the opportunity, let's push hard for Happiness (whcih shouldn't be too hard, as it came in third in votes behind SM and Clumsy).
Honestly I'd rather them just move forward. All this returning to their old material is awesome and stuff, but I must say that the Clumsy/SM tour has kinda "de-mystified" those albums for me now. I'd rather they leave Happiness (especially) and Naveed alone and focus on their new album, which I hope will be an epic mix of their old and new style.

I asked Raine if we would see this next year and he said that it's "something to think about". Don't know if he was humoring me or not, but he sounded genuinely open to the idea.

They played Neon Crossing in Saskatoon, many moons ago. I believe it was the Gravity tour, but for the life of me can't recall the year. But I saw it!
I was at the first show they played Neon Crossing with Steve! (August 3rd 2002)! I still remember that moment -- so unexpected. They had just come out for the encore and played through Somewhere Out There. Out of nowhere, strobe lights and Steve suddenly dropped into a crouch, guitar just off the floor, and went into the opening riff of Neon Crossing.
If they do this again in a year or two, I hope they don't do Naveed and Happiness. I would rather see them do a tour with the more straightforward albums (Naveed one night, Gravity or Burn Burn on a 2nd night), or else the ones with the long names (Another Night With Our Lady Peace: Happiness Is Not a Fish That You Can Catch Or Healthy in Paranoid Times -- has a nice ring to it).

I totally agree with Happiness. I kinda like how that albums a mystery to most people. Really, they don't talk much of it and it's definitley the most under rated from the first four albums.
Wow, weak crowd in London tonight. Jeremy did a tremendous 5 minute drum solo near the end of Paper Moon. After that the guys cut 2 songs off the setlist and combined All You Did Was Save My Life/Somewhere Out There.
I heard someone recorded the entire SM set in HD. Wonder when that will show up?
