Raines's voice sounds fantastic in clusmy. I think he's starting to slip into a more comfortable voice.

The Part II video starts off with a lot of tension. It made me a bit uncomfortable. It was good to watch though, I liked the videos.

I think that tension carried over into the 2005 tour. However, after a winter break, when they hit the road in April 2006, they were really meshing together well, and had a lot of awesome performances.

I saw Neon Crossing in Saskatoon many years ago.

It was lovely.

Maybe they'll repeat it in Saskatoon just for memory's sake, and you'll get to see it!

Some guy wanted to see that song done in Vegas( Neon Crossing). Raine said good choice but did not remember the lyrics.

I think that they been asked too many times for songs not done in ages by long time fans.I can not be the only one asking to see stuff again. I think in the long run they thought about it since we are the ones who pay for the shows..

“We are talking about the next record already and the new stuff is going to be full on guns blazing.” -Raine Maida

I get that he's saying it'll be good, but I haven't quite figured out what "full on guns blazing" means lol.

I'm thinking he means more tracks like Monkey Brains. Which I support!

I like some slower songs. God knows 4AM and Thief are brilliant. But songs like Neon Crossing, Monkey Brains, Starseed, etc...are simply amazing!

Yeah, that actually sounds about right.
“Music doesn’t have the power to change the world. What music does is it changes people, & that changes the world, so to say that music doesn’t change people anymore is just ridiculous. It does everyday. It doesn’t have to be on a political or social level. You could be feeling shitty & it makes you happy & if that’s all it does, it’s changing the world. It’s making it a better place.” ~ Raine Maida

I was hoping it meant heavier, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I don't think OLP will ever go back to the complexity of Happiness or SM...or even Clumsy.

However, even with a "simple" sound, you can still be heavy. I hope they do record some heavier and faster tracks!

PS - And more complex drumming! I want to hear the quality of Automatic Flowers or Is Anybody Home? !!
