Anyway, has anyone seen the 1996 movie Romeo + Juliet with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes? It looks really interesting.
It's good. I think my fiancée went to school with her but they were several years apart.

We really want kids and we will have them as soon as we feel like it's time. What constitutes the right time? I don't know, but I'll know when it's time just like I knew when it was time to get married. I can see people not wanting to have children but I can't imagine not having them. Still debating on how many...I guess it will depend on when we start!
Goodness, I've been busy lately, it seems. I've started playing hockey again (I took a year off last year), and I'm so glad to be back. Our team isn't very good, because our main players are playing AA and higher calibre hockey on city teams. Basically, we're the team of left-overs in a house league.
There's something wrong with my skates. As in, yes, they hurt my ankle so bad I bled through my sock and have stained the back of my skate.
And! I'm really happy that I get to be a centerman. Er... centerwoman. My wingers are two guys that aren't very experienced in hockey, so that's a bit of a drag... but hey. It's great to be back!

I knew I wanted kids my entire life - its a scary step to take but I haven't met anyone that has said they regretted having their kids.
The best thing about kids is that you can brainwash them to like/dislike whatever you want!

That'd be much better than listening to someone who can't write music, can't play any instruments, and can't sing without autotune. I don't think she is so different from Chantal Kreviazuk, Fiona Apple, Regina Spektor and the likes, except that she had the good business sense to team up with some pop producers and make music for the masses instead of taking another route a few years ago.

So then I should of used Britney Spears as my example?

I took a 12 year old girl who wants to be a singer to a Chantal Kreviazuk concert...but you know what - she wants to be a singer for the fame, money, light shows and costume changes (all of which don't happen at a CK concert) - not the music. Trying to get her to learn an instrument is frustrating - she doesn't think its necessary and she loves Lady Gaga. I think its great if she is inspiring young kids to love music (I am not a music snob and will give any music a chance) but I have not seen her demonstrate her musical ability (which I'm not doubting she has), just some weird ass fashion statements.
There are a very few artists who actually make that kind of money, so I wanted her to choose to do it because that's her passion or she will be unhappy and dirt poor her whole life.
On a side note, autotune sucks - remember when musicians/singers had to have real talent and not just a look? Wow - I best stop, this is turning into a very long rant - didn't realize this stuff annoyed me so much.

Why would you do that to the poor girl?! You're like the old man who's like "this is real music! now sit down, shut up and listen!" hahahaha. Poor kid. All she wanted was to see a cool, fun show and you brought her to see an adult-contemporary act. Good job. Way to crush her dreams.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
