Thanks .. I did not hear it yet. SOme odd songs on here..

A few of them were very odd. I was not suprised at all but very excited that Raine picked Ray LaMontagne!!!

P.S. "We're like mini Jay Z's" made me laugh so hard I almost fell out of my chair.

Was it Devo maybe? Steve picked a Devo song I wasn't familiar with and it was kind of weird. He even said he thought it was odd the first time he listened to it.

I had problems with it too. It started in the middle somewhere but it started over when it got to the end. Also it wouldn't let me play it when I clicked on it. It told me it didn't recognize the file type. It asked me to save it so I did and when I clicked on it, it opened in Windows Media player and..... started from the middle.

Ok. maybe deal with that another day..

Devo is playing two shows herein NOv. I want to go

playing the We Are Not Men on one night and Freedom Of Choice on another night. I never saw them live so going to go.

I love how Steve is into bands I grew up on or was a huge fan of in high school.. I hate to admit it but I think he was maybe about 2 when I started school. LOL..I could of babysat him..

Thanks for the heads up Gail!! He talked about the lighting. I still would like to take credit for that. He seemed more comfortable and giggly today. They must have given him wine. :D

I only got half of it as well...oh well, sounded like the same old answers with the "too many twos" answer about HIPT.

AYD made it on Big Shiny Tunes 14...I was thinking that this was the first time OLP made it onto Big Shiny Tunes but I checked into it and Life made it onto #6.

A bit of useless knowledge but I've been collecting Big Shiny Tunes since I got it on tape in 1996 (so I could listen to it in the car, way before cd players were standard!) I have since upgraded to all cds but I still have that first tape and it holds a spot in my heart.

I haven't even looked at the track listing for BST14, but I admit, I'm surprised OLP made a cameo.

How didn't songs like Superman's Dead make it on BST back in the day? That's crazy...

Agreed, I thought something from Clumsy should of been on #2 or #3.

M2, look it up on wiki...big seller in Canada, especially in the 90s.
