i havent been here for 2 days.. for some reason i was signed out when i came one day.. i got mad at firefox 'cause my password wasnt in the long in thingy with screen name.. so i figured firefox was to blame dicked around, got bored and closed it.. then i was busy so i didnt check to see if my password was there (and by busy i mean i was too lazy).. eventually i got fed up and ended my silent protest against the cm/firefox and entered my password
on another note, i finally blue-screened my new comp.. took nearly 3 weeks to do

Not good to jerk the gerkin into a sock, it gums up the works.

This is the place to unwind, right? That's what the link said.

My Grandma's prayers are tomorrow. I haven't ever dealt with a loved one dying. My brother's a pallbearer.

I don't want to go. I don't want to go.

And for the first time since I found out about her death, I'm crying. Right here, right now.

I love Grandma, but I don't know if I can handle being in the same room as the body that was once hers. I don't know if I can see my brother and cousins carrying her out. I won't be able to bear seeing her picture on top of the casket; with her blue-blue eyes and big smile.

I really want a hug. :/

Thank you.

Egad, where are my friends when I need their love? Two of them almost smothered me when I told them that Grandma had passed away.

I'm so sorry, Shanae. :( Death sucks. But you really should go to the funeral. It's the best way to really fully grasp the death of someone you love. *hugs*

Very sorry to hear that. Nikki is absolutely correct. You should go and take that one last opportunity to see her. It's hard as hell, but it's something you need. She's never really gone as long as you remember her. Take the best qualities about her and make them your own, that way she really does live on.

I'm so sorry Shanae. It is never easy to lose someone. Crying is a good thing, and like Matt and Nikki said, although funerals are tough, they help you deal with death. Surrounding yourself with people who also loved your Grandmother might not help you feel better now, but in years to come, you'll appreciate the memory of it.

I just want to get this all over with. I said my goodbye at the start of January and knew she was going to die soon, so I refused to go back and do it all over again. It sounds selfish, and maybe it was, but I didn't want to go through everything for a THIRD time. (She had a close call in the summer time.)

I know I'm not going to see her because remembering her sick in the summer was enough to haunt me. I already have troubles sleeping.

Thanks everyone.

first off my condolence, i lost my grandpa years ago and it was definitely not an easy thing for me to go through, i know how much it hurts...
for the most part, everyone said what i wouldve but at the same time i'd say you need to do whats best for you.. having said that however,i would say try not to spend too much time alone.. in my case, im 7 years older than my brother, my mom was .. a mess to say the least.. i, in a way, took it upon myself to "stay strong" for my bro.. he saw me cry once and that was at the funeral.. he was already scared, confused, worried about my mom and to see me that way was tough.. thankfully my dog's a brat and whenever lots of peeps were over she'd be in the garage cuz everyone was scared of her.. so i'd go check on her and she was my security blanket so to speak.. as great as she was.. in hindsight the better/smarter decision wouldve been to stay around people cuz they talk and thats important not just because of the whole interaction thing but also i guarantee someone will tell you some random story that you may not have heard or that is "just her" if you will and that can also be immensely helpful in the healing process but i cant stress enough you need to do what you feel is best for you
go fuck yourself.
