Me too. Minor hockey died in my town. All of the good players ran off to play AA and AAA and left the average/below average players behind to combine teams with other towns. Dad said I couldn't play Bantam Boys hockey this year either, because I don't try hard enough. : :D And I'd be lonely, dressing in one room by myself.

I live too far from an arena to make the trek with my equipment. i mean, i have to walk 1km to the bus stop. and then if the bus is full they won't let you on with equipment anyways. So yeah, it just didn't work out. Now my equipment is sitting in my partner's parents' basement because I just can't bring myself to get rid of it. :P

First of all, congratulations!

One km to the bus stop? That's a long way... a really long way. One day you should scope out a pond or something and play shinny. Haha, I'm kidding. I can't bring myself to get rid of mine, either. I'll still need my skates, stick, gloves, and helmet in case I ever go public skating, but shoulder pads are pretty much useless at this point.

sorry lando, but if it helps, no one else has. we're doing a simple civil ceremony - no guests, no fanciness, no fluff - followed by a dinner with our families.

thanks for the congrats shanae.

and dom, it doesn't seem like that long ago when i was completely opposed to the idea of marriage. pretty weird. also, we still need to go for coffee! pm me with dates/times that work for you!!

The ceremony is nice, but man that is the way to go. Save the money and spend it on the honeymoon!

I'm sure you'll make an awesome wife, and Dominika will too. It doesn't hurt that both of you are gorgeous on top of being great people.

Weddings make me happy. And then drunk people ask me why I'm not drunk and they try to buy me drinks. :P

I got drunk on Monday. I discovered that as opposed to the fun drunk I used to be, I am now a very angry angry drunk.

That's unfortunate.

I'm sure I'd be a fun drunk... I've been 'tipsy' before, but I don't think I was quite drunk. And no, I'm not that rebellious... I was drinking in Disney World with Mom and her friend. Mmm, wine.

I used to run around and fall down and laugh about it. Now I just tell people how much I hate them :P

How.... pleasant!

I'm already loud and outgoing... alcohol and me together would probably be disastrous.
