i got to see Pedestrian's CD release show last Sat in LA..
Even though I had seen some of the new songs done live previously I have to say this was an amazing night. It was great to see the band again. I also was looking forward to hearing the songs I never heard before.
They did the cd from first song to last and nothing else. Joel told some stories on the songs and such.. The one that made me laugh the most was how he mentioned a show they recently played.. He was saying it was at a family picnic type area . Ticket said doors at 2:30PM they came on at 2PM. I think he was trying to shead some light on the show they performed for basically nobody but a few families. He went on to say that he introduced Brain On A Stick with the swearing and there were little kids playing near by..

..I bet those kids speak and heard worse.
He also talked about how one song was about sucide or what he thought it would feel like if you had nobody. If you felt alone and alienated from others. The title escapes me now. Maybe Josh can fill you in on it..
He closed with Let The Ending Begin.. Which he wrote about his deceased dog Cedric. As many of you may remember Cederic died in 2006 and Joel was heartbroken over it..
He did however say that him and his girlfriend had adopted dogs that day from the pound.. Billy and Charlotte.
Here are a few photos from the show
This is a sign I had made for them at the pier..
They also sold the cd. There were two versions. The handmade sleeve ones. There were only 200 made and each is numbered and signed by Joel and the regular sleeved cd.. They said they had the handmade ones cause the cd was not ready intime for the tour..
It was a fun night and great tto see the band again and hang out with afew friends..
