   I never noticed that, but you are right..

Crustine-I just said that about Raine cause he is ALWAYS so THIN. Not that he is fat or anything like that. I just am not use to seeing him with some meat on his bones. Now if only Steve would gain a pound or two..

Patrick- I really dig dreamland. I like it a hell of lot better then KOTM, and BTH..

Yeah they do look better. Although Steve has had his hair that short or just a tad longer for awhile now.. It has been ages since I seen Duncan with hair..I hope they keep it like that. Now if only we can get Raine to stop wearing hats. He is turning into Slash.. BY that i mean always with a hat on..

those photos are really good though.

I haven't gotten to hear the song yet, because I'm on a lame computer that doesn't have a soundcard or flash and I don't have the right permissions to get that stuff... any chance someone'd be willing to rip the audio to an mp3 so I can put it on my mp3 player? :D

That said, hey all.
I just wanna get out,

hey foetus.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Hey everyone, just wanted to pop in here and add my own joy to the news that the band is close to another release. I'm a late-comer in the OLP game (fell head-over-heels in love with the band early 2007) but am now a BIG fan. I bought the whole discography in a little over 2 months on a married students budget. Anywho, this album will be my first album having been familiar with the band first, so I'm interested to see the band's release process. Any details that I should know besides the fact that they've been saying in interviews that the music has more of a "Naveed" feel to it?

Welcome to the camp!

You'll have to wait a while for the next album.
OLP has been notorious for releasing release dates uber early then pushing them back again and again.

Just be patient and good things will come.

Hey guys! New info!

Steve posted on OLP's MySpace blog, I found out through good old Wikipedia. Here's the link:

http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... =412249529

They're getting closer! Steve mentioned the cover artwork, and I commented on the blog and asked if they would be including Sol Fox on the cover:D (by the way my profile pic isn't ACTUALLY me lol)

Sol should definately be on the cover, no doubt about it. Also how about a double cd :P.

Im curious though, remember when Raine or Duncan said they were gonna make like a B-sides cd with all those demos we never get to hear anymore lol, ya still waiting for that too! haha

Yeah, well apparently in some interview that I've never yet seen Raine or another member said that A Decade would be Sol's last appearance. Hopefully not.

And yeah, it would be entirely kick-ass if they were to release the demos and all that pizazz.

Thanks for the welcome! I'm glad to have finally found a place where I can gain some better insight and have other OLP fans to talk with. Clumsy congress seems to be as dead as a doornail...

Basically the process sounds much like Third Eye Blind's... Release dates a plenty that just get pushed farther and farther back. From that blog post apparently they've got 16 or 17 songs done, what I wouldn't give for a double album!

I wonder if SOL is still alive? He was up there in age.

I think they are going to be in Toronto in Aug for recording..I know Raine is suppose to go out for his USA release of his solo cd for a little bit. Not sure if that is still going to happen and where it would be..

BTW Rob welcome. It does not matter when you got into the band. YOu are just as much a fan as anyone else on here.

I for one hope this has the Naveed feel> By that I mean the rawness, and harder edge Naveed had. They started to bring a little of that back on the last CD.

i believe sol passed away a while ago but im not sure about that, i know the twins and i brought it up with someone who gave us a rather cryptic yes/no/maybe/no comment/the sky is blue kinda statement that some what hinted towards that

at least i think it was the twins and i.. i do know however the answer we got was cryptic enough while hinting towards that fact and it was definitely said while we were present
go fuck yourself.

I wonder who updated that? *whistles*

On the topic of Sol Fox, I'm sure OLP would have posted a blog or given an update of some sort if he passed away, they did that when WWE wrestler Chris Benoit died, and he wasn't even considered a "close friend."
