Poor Matts :( That really sucks. I hope tonight's show is/was better. :sugar:

Her boyfriend posted an apology in reply to Matt's blog post on the matter. I do feel somewhat sorry for him as he does appear to feel genuinely shitty about what happened, but he should have done something about it before it got to that point.

Ps this is a post from an MG forum, it's not you they're talking about is it Matt? Cos I can so see you saying this ...

"One thing that was funny was immediately after she said it, some other guy in the crowd muttered under his breath but many heard him because it was so tiny "Shut the FUCK UP LADY!""
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Her boyfriend should dump her. She clearly has no redeeming qualities to make up for her lack of social skills.

Haha, that wasn't me Sooz. Arlington's show was fantastic! The only bad part was when I took a wrong turn and drove 40 minutes through the hood in DC. For 40 minutes I was the only caucasian in sight. This adventure led me straight to....the front of the US Capital building. Good times in DC.

I'm going to see Death Cab for Cutie in one month and two days. It's at a pretty small place that only holds about 1,000 people

Two nights ago I saw Matt Good in Halifax (amazing show). Last night I was in Moncton (still am actually) and I saw Leonard Cohen (well, his soundcheck and the first hour of his show) and then Matt Good again (Matt was good, the crowd around me wouldn't shut up). Tonight I might see Chris Koster in Kingston. Then next week MG again at Massey Hall (yay) and Kingston.

I'm going to need another holiday to get over this one I think.

I got to see one of the artists on my list of "must see in my lifetime" tonight. I saw Billy Joe Shaver perform for about 300 people tonight. Most all of you have no idea who he is. He is regarded as one of the greatest songwriters in the history of country music. He delivered an amazing vocal performance. It will definitely go down as one of my all time favorite concerts.

I wouldn't exactly call this recent, but my most recent show was in November. Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace were the headliners with Red and Seether as the openers. My seats were pretty good, I was in the stands about 40 or 50 feet away from the stage.

I was surprised that a good portion of the crowd had heard of Red (I had only heard of them about a month before). They did a pretty good job getting the crowd pumped up. Next up was Seether, and in my opinion, they were either the first or second best acts of the night. Their newer work is below desirable, but luckily they only played the obligatory "Fake It" and a better song from the album "Like Suicide." The crowd was into them the entire time.

The crowd went insane once Breaking Benjamin hit the stage. The only band that game them a run for their money for most exciting performance was Seether, but I think BB may have beat them. At one point Ben Burnley (lead singer/rhythm guitarist) went into the crowd handing out water and body-surfing as Seether's Shaun Morgan and TDG's Barry Stock came out and the bands performed a cover of "Change" by the Deftones.

Three Days Grace came out last. I was expecting the crowd to be insane, but they got more on the quiet side half-way through. Their performance was good, but I think the audience brought it down a few notches. They had good crowd interaction though. They ended their show how they always do (but it's still really cool), by performing "Home" with parts of Filter's "Hey Man, Nice Shot" in the middle.

Overall a great show, and a great one for a first concert. Lol yeah, we rarely get acts that I'm interested in around here.

3DG was pretty disappointing the last time I saw them. I thought Breaking Benjamin and Seether did amazing jobs on stage.

I've taped 9 shows this year. Good times!

I guess it was how much 3DG was hyped up throughout the entire show, they just couldn't meet expectations. They weren't terrible, but they couldn't put on a show like Seether and Breaking Benjamin already did. My only complaint about the Seether set is that they didn't get to play long enough. They only played seven or eight songs, it went by way too quickly.
