But if it does, how many cups does Buffalo have?

The same amount Toronto has since Buffalo has came into the league. In fact, Toronto hasnt even been to a Stanley Cup since Buffalo came into the league in 1970, let alont won one. So since Buffalo became a franchise, they're both even, with Buffalo having a slight edge of atleast making it to two. Plus the future for the Sabres to win one looks alot better than it does for the Leafs.

Odds are you werent even alive the last time the Leafs were in the finals, which was like 1968 or something. It must have real exciting for them though winning the cup back in the 20's and stuff with like 6 teams in the league, real impressive.

And good on you for quoting half of what i say and completely missing my point, which was none of what has happened in previous years is going to have any major impact on what will happen this year

Leafs should enjoy the win against Buffalo, it hasnt happend very often. Its ok, all that matters at this point is this:

Buffalo: 12-1-1 25 points in 14 games played.

Toronto: 9-5-3 21 points in 17 games played.

And your best player is out for a while, have fun with that one.

15-1-1 with our best forward, best defensemen and starting goalie out in the last few games, and were still winning. Insane.

Buffalo is raping bitches this year.......its crazy. I remember watching Ryan Miller in Rochester last season, and look at that dude now.

Hey, hows Gaustad doing? I haven't seen a great deal of numbers.

You must be thinking of 2 years ago during the NHL lockout, Miller never played on Rochester last season.

As for Gaustad, hes been playing amazing lately, 3 goals in his last 3 games. Hes a great center too, our best along with Drury.

Shoot...maybe it was 2 seasons ago. Hell, time seems like such a blur. I need to get my ass to an Amerks game this season, yet.

Glad to hear Gaustad is doing well. I wasn't sure. The only stats I seem to catch is when I manage to catch SportCenter after getting home late.

Thats was uncalled for.

The way I want the Sabres to get him and the Caps back is by blowing them out in the final 3 games with them. That would be awesome, some 8-0, 7-0 wins.

In all fairness, Ovechkin apologized and said he didn't mean for it to happen. Due to the speed of the game things like that happen. Obviously no one condones hitting from behind, and something serious could have happened from it (and thankfully it didn't) but I don't think one hit is any reason to lose respect for Ovechkin. He's probably one of the most sincere players in the game and there isn't a doubt in my mind that he had no intention of hitting Briere from behind.

Briere said he hasn't even heard from Ovechkin. I haven't read anything saying he apologized
