my grandpa just died.

he had brain cancer. he was only expected to live 6 months, but made it three months longer than they thought.

he's the first grandparent i've lost. and his funeral is on my birthday, which is the 11th of september.

i didn't think it would hurt so much, since i was expecting it for so long.
