you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

You know, while it would be sad it would be the last show, I'd like to be at OLP's last show ever.
But they're never going to stop playing.
...They're not.
EVER.

If they did, I doubt they'd realize it was their last show at the time. They'd probably just break up and not have a farewell show or whatever.

Does anyone know anything about the Philadelphia Folk Festival? There's this band called the Duhks that I'm a huge fan of that's playing this year. The festival is a 3 day thing in late August. There aren't prices listed yet, but there's some type of spring folk festival that is promoted through the same site and it doesn't look like you can get tickets for individual shows, or even individual days. It's $145 for the three day pass I think that comes with camping privledges, so I guess if you're into that, it's not a bad deal, but I'm not really into any of the other bands and I'm hoping I don't need to shell out $145 (or there about) for one band (because I won't).
Does anyone know how ticketing works?

Saw Buckethead on Saturday, and he's a very good guitarist, but his showmanship needs a little work. We stayed for the first set but left because we were tired and a little bit bored. It was worth the tickets, though.
Saw 30 Seconds to Mars, and it was worth every penny...I got it free.
The guys from Vendetta Red were so incredibly nice. It was refreshing, after all the crap with the OLP tickets over the last month, which I know the band wasn't really personally responsible for but they have mostly been pretty quiet abotu the issue when they should have apologized for the situation by now.
I was one of the first 10 people in line, I got there maybe 3 hours before the show, and the 2 people immediately behind me in line and maybe 5 people in front of me didn't have tickets, but the band did everything they could to get them into the show, and ended up with a lot more people on the guestlist than they were supposed to have. A few of the members talked to fans for quite a while before the show, and the whole band stayed around the venue for at least 2 1/2 hours after the show ended. Some of the members even thanked me personally for coming and bringing copies of two of their older shows for them to have, and for recording what I could of their final show. <3

Yeah, they sucked really bad when they opened for OLP in Buffalo in 2002.
