Gah I'd email .net to tell them about them (since their Ts&Cs prohibit this) but they seem to be ok with rippping us off for tickets, so maybe they wouldn't care about this.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

haha that would suck uberly for the people who bought them today..... but seriously, i dont think enough people would buy the Hot Seat Package to fill the first 8 or 10 rows (or how many ever rows it was).

Hey, if any of the scalpers are able to sell seats in the first few rows for under $170 a shot... then they're better in my opinion than .net

Doesn't look like that is the case yet though.

It's one thing if somebody backs out and you want to sell an extra ticket. But buying tickets to sell for profit is low.

I don't really have a problem with scalpers in this case...I mean that's how i'm going to HAVE to get my tickets, seeing as I didn't have any money to join the 'pay' fan club...remember when OLP used to send out presales to people who were real fans - ie CC, mailing list, etc? not just those who joined the PPU?

For London (where I'm seeing them, and possibly Ottawa too) there are seats at the very back of the floor left, yet on e-bay there are some in the 2nd row already up....It's all relative anyways, somebody is going to be making a HUGE profit off of the love I have for this band....I mean why should I buy shitty seats, when I can just join in on the evil and at least have an amazing time?

clearly a very jaded long time fan,

That doesn't make any sense. You don't have money to join the $25 fan club to get the $40-$60 ticktes, but you're going to pay $150-$400 for tickets?

I mean I didn't have money before to join the club, and now it would just be an extra $25 on top of OLP tickets, which on top of Spring Broke and a University Life, isn't feasible...I didn't know there were $40-60 seats on the .net presale, everyone's only talking about the $170 hot package or whatever...

plus the $40-60 seats they offer, I would imagine, are of the same quality that other presales through the venue, etc could offer, without having to join a club that doesn't seem to do anything and spend extra money...I'm gonna end up just doing the general onsale to the public, hopefully I won't have to resort to the e-bay scalpers, although I'm glad it's always there as an option...which I guess makes me pro scalper?
