according to my art teacher, my low self confidence is getting in the way of my work. and my life. and she's upset at me for it. like, i think she's frustrated with me because she thinks i can do better or something. i don't know.
she also says it's what attracts not-so-nice boys to my door.
that made me sad.

Thats why we're here. To tell you that you're awesome so then you can draw pretty things.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I didn't make any mention of it except to the mods, but my grandma passed away on Sunday evening. She was 70 years old and had been fighting cancer for a little while now. The people at the funeral home made her look very nice, although she had withered away to about 65 pounds and all her natural hair had fallen out from some last chance radiation treatments. She is my mom's stepmother, but always treated her just like a daughter. She was also always very supportive of me and encouraged me in everything I ever did. When my grandpa was a truck driver, she would take me to his apartment 3 hours away to visit him when I was a little boy. I'm very happy she isn't suffering anymore but I sure will miss her. I'm also worried about my grandpa. I spent the night with him the last two nights so he wouldn't be in his house all by himself. He has Parkinson's and his memory sometimes isn't as good as it once was. I hope he'll be ok.

oh no! That's so great of you to stay with him during this tough time. How is he doing? I lost my grandma last April. She was over 90 and she was my last living grandparent... it was extremely tough.

Hmm I'm not sure how low self confidence could get in the way of your work. That is, unless it's stopping you from trying more challenging pieces.

Since I delted my post for some reason, here's the story. I was walking with my girlfriend while she walked her dog. I was holding the leash while she tied her shoe, and the dog broke free of the leash. So i grabbed his collar, which he just shook off as well. So i threw my arms around him to hold him down, forgetting that he doesn't run away, so he thought I wanted to play. So he pinned me down and licked my face for a good 5 minutes before I could stand back up.

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever
