interesting...He is playing with TAMARA at NOKIA tomorrow I think. It was one of those surprise guest apperances where tickets went on sale a day before the show..

I was at the show in Toronto on January 21st, and the only one who wasn't there was Emily Haines. At one point they had 18 people on stage playing, and played for 3+ hours. Did I mention I was front row?

damn you jim. when they were here for an all-ages show, we didnt have jason collett or emily haines or james shaw or evan cranley or torq or amy millan or feist. BOOOO. we had maybe 10 people.

The Academy Is... put out an acoustic EP on itunes music store today. 3 new songs, and 3 reworkings of stuff from Almost Here (the piano version of Down and Out is HOT).
