I always think of things to say during the day when I'm far from a computer, then when I finally get here it slips my mind.

at school, hubless and bored.

I'm participating in some psych experiments this afternoon to complete my bonus 5% for Psyc100. But they don't start until 2:00.

So, the first was supposed to start at 2:00 and last 45 minutes, then the second one was supposed to start at 3:00 and last about the same.

I'm already done the first one, so now I'm back - waiting until I can go to the second one at 3:00.

*wonders how Robbo was experimented on* - what did they make you do??
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

They made Robbo get Duncany for a psych experiment? This sounds more like a porn shoot than a University project. :freak:

Just had to answer some questions based on various things. In one I had to watch videos of people "speed dating" and rate 4 things on a scale from 1 to 10:

1) how interested is the female in a dating relationship with the male she's interacting with?
2) how interested is the female in a short-term relationship with the male she's interacting with?
3) how interested is the female in a long-term relationship with the male she's interacting with?
4) how attractive is the female?

Another gave a description of a girl, and I had to answer questions about my impression of her. Then there was a more detailed description of her, and I had to once again give my impression. Then I had to choose different adjectives to describe her (whichever ones came to mind) and categorize them in different ways (appearance, personality, positive, negative, etc, although I picked the categories myself).

The third one I did was similar to the second. Except this time it talked about a type of animal (made up for the study). I read about this animal that is very intelligent and tame and blah blah blah, then answered questions about that type of animal (how tame is it on a scale from one to ten). Then I got a discription of another specimen of the same species, this time it was more aggressive, unintelligent, etc. And I had to then give answers about my impression of the species (not just that specimen).

Being Duncany wasn't actually a requirement for any of them. In fact, all of the experimenters objected when I tried to get Duncany! And they call themselves psychologists...

This weekend I must fill out my supplementary application stuff, for the social work programs I applied too. They aren't hard but I need to find a third reference for york, I must have a professional reference, an academic reference and then a reference of my choice....any volunteers? :P

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

I'm sure there is some scientific name but I'd call it stress induced giddyness. Unless you were literally screwed or will be soon and that is why you're happy. But I don't think that's what you meant, so why are you screwed now?
