I gotta remind myself never to judge before I actually see. :(

I LOVED the video! :D I don't think it was boring at all..it definitely had it's moments as subtle as they were. And I don't think Raine lacked emotion at all. The song is a bit depressing but near the end, I started to see more expression. The floating into space bit was kinda funny but not hilarious. About that part totally contradicting with the song...I disagree. I think it fit...just think of the lyrics: "Just like it's cold before it's warm, we'll be back here again..." ..."..it's there, then it's..gone.."

As for the slow mo, I think it fit and was used differently from WAY. I don't see what the big friggin' deal is. OLP using the concept twice isn't as obvious as say, Greenday making extra-long videos twice in a row. :roll:

i agree. i like it too. Maybe its being over analyzed. The only weird thing is that the song improves the video. The video itself is bland, but the song really makes it entertaining.

Everyone here expects a little too much, IMO.

I love the song and I'm glad the video didn't do anything to change that...in fact, I think I love the song just a little bit more now.

i agree people are expecting too much but had it been a great video everyone would have found criticisms for it anyway. i dont really... care. i bet i'll like it when i see it too haha

My biggest criticism is that the rest of the band is barely in it. I like OLP, not the Raine Maida band. If it were the same video but with more band shots, I'd probably enjoy it.

i have a good way of bringing it up too. i'll just tell them about the giraffe made out of grass at the mall and say "oooh an idea!" i bet raine secretly has a giraffe fetish :nod:

They'd have to make the video have a closeup on the giraffe's tongue. Those things are just cool.

I'm pretty sure that means it's the video that gets the most airplay.

What's so horrible about that? I know Much plays total crap most of the time, but for a song that pretty much everybody loves, I think it's awesome that it might do well in the mainstream. Unlike SOT, this video getting a ton of airplay is a good thing.. me thinks anyways
