the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

the first time i've seen them since 2002, and it was honestly the best. we got to see joel and steve after the show, it was so cool. Joel is a-class. he's freaking awesome. both signed this ridiculously large Make Poverty History board i have. it was very cool. i went with my gf and friend who are both marginal olp fans, during Waited, sabrina (my gf) turns to me and says "this is freaking amazing." i've gone to a lot of concerts with her, and she's gone to a lot on her own...she says this was the best. it was a small venue and the sound was freaking amazing. i think my personal highlight of the show was starseed.
just want to thank nikki once again for yelling out for me!

best
show
ever.
loved how they opened it. lotta the new album rocked live.
haha the cameraman that raine told to move is actually, strangely enough, my cinematography teacher from university. i recognized and spoke to him before the show and he said they were filming for a hi-definition presentation on the rogers hi-def channel sometime soon, and then eventually for a dvd...of the whole concert.
cheers

Hey. That was a pretty spankin' concert. Wow! I had basically decided before the concert that if they had let me down that night I probably would have given up on them, but did they ever prove me wrong. Will the Future Blame Us was probably the best live song I've ever heard in my life. It had the energy of U2, but the distintion of Our Lady Peace. Massey Hall was great, I felt the bass deep in my soul. I can't wait to read the rumours with Joel and Steve to start up again. I mean, it's not very OLP-like for them to not have their stunt musician huddled in the corner. Either way, amazing. Thanks.
[Edit] One more thing... Hopefully that person doesn't come on this board, but what was up with the ska-nking to EVERY song??? Man, spent a good portion of the concert watching him/her. It was nuts! They ska-nked to freaking Thief! How on earth do you do that? I thought it was impossible to Ska-nk at Massey Hall and Ska-nk to OLP, boy was I proved wrong.

Well, it's really spelt Skanking but I do it differently. The Official definition taken from http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=skanking
states that:
1. Skanking
The bizarre, wild dance done to the music known as Ska. Not to be confused with a, "skank" skanking resembles running in place while flailing your arms. While popular at Ska shows, it is more acceptable at other mixed venues to simply join the mosh. Unskilled skankers are sometimes mistaken for seizure victims.
Ex: Good Skanker: Most Reel Big Fish fans. Identifiable by their large sunflower sunglasses and festive attire.
Bad Skanker: "That Guy." The one at every show that looks like he has a bad itch.

One of the best OLP shows ive been too. Waited blew me away, as well as thief and car crash i was so happy they played them.
The only thing i didnt get out of this show that i really wanted was potato girl, and carnival. Other then that what a great concert.

Hm, I know who you're talking about, she was pretty wierd too. But this guy was smack dab in the middle to the theatre. A couple rows infront of many of the hubbers actually. Had a white t-shirt and black hair... or could be my imaginatin.
