simple really... cancer and chemotherapy sap the body of strength and energy.
hockey is a aport that needs strength and energy, therefore is one is sapped of that plus the muscle mass loss and all that and is already "small" by nhl standards, the likelihood of coming back and playing at a high level the same season as the treatment incurred.
so in closing thats what cancer has to do with hockey.

Darcy Tucker isnt not the captain of his team
thats the stupidest argument i have ever read, considering they are also two completely different style of players
i dont think i have even once seen Koivu stand up for one of his teammates
and i know its only a few games in, but here are the numbers so far
.............GP ....G ....A ....Pts
Koivu...... 7 .....3 ....3 .....6
Tucker ....7 ......4 ....5 .....9
and Koivu is small but NHL standards, but Tucker isnt bigger
Koivu
5'10''
185
Tucker
5'10
175

true it does do that,
but right now does he have cancer and is he undergoing chemotherapy?
no, so right now thats not a very good argument at all
i mean hes a pretty decent player and all, but he is way overrated

right because all captains in the league have to score and cant lead by example in terms of effort and other intangibles.

that i'll give you.. they do have a different styel.

i have plenty of times.. if anything given his past knee problems, the coaches/trainers and his teammates dont let him but he has and he always will.
go fuck yourself.

...............GP ......G .......A ........Pts ......+/-
Sundin ...1087 ...465 ....624 ...1089 .....+56
Koivu .....505 .....124 ....282 ...406 .......+12
and Sundin is captain clutch
how many game winners did he have last season?
Sundin was also on the Olympic Tournament All Star Team, meaning he is one of the best players in the world out of every country

Sundin's not overrated, he's underrated. He's a solid player. But Peter Forsberg is the best forward in the league. And still, I think Chris Pronger is the best/smartest defenceman.
