Weezer last night were very fab :)

They played quite a few different songs to last time I saw them (including El Scorcho) and each band member got to sing a song. I can't remember what the geetar and bass men did but the drummer did Photograph while Rivers played the drums. Rivers was much chattier than last time too.

The best bit though was at the beginning of the encore. There was a roadie man on stage fiddling with something and you could hear a few chords being played but there was no-one on stage playing them and the roadie man did a little 'turn around' signal with his hands and so we did and there was Rivers with his guitar at the front of the balcony upstairs on my side of the building (this is a big old theatre which holds about 5000 people). He then launched into Island in the Sun which he did acoustic all by himself :D
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
