Thats too bad about mike, it mustve been a pretty harsh breakup, for them to lose contact all together after that long being together.

it was in the OLP newsletter that was sent out. I put it up here and Soozy corrected the address.. It was about 5 weeks ago. They had to be in by july 29th or something like that.

sa for MIke. I rermember Duncan once sayig it was liek adivorce in sense.. I do find it sad that they were friends but perfessionally had a falling out that effected teh friendship. Stuff happens though.. which is sad :uh:

Jeremy more or less said the same thing when someone asked him about Mike at Villanova, too. I think it's more that none of them have made an effort to contact each other cos it's awkward than anything else. Of course, this is just my perception and I know nothing. :*)**

Thatd be very interesting, you can tell Raine dislikes him now. Ive read several articles, where raine stated that "mike can do great things, just never with a stringed instrument" or saying that he was never meant to play guitar. There was obviously quite abit of tension.

Yeah. The band's always been pretty respectful about the break-up. The only really negative thing that I've read was Raine saying that Mike couldn't play the type of leads and solos they wanted. (which is also B.S. just watch any Naveed-era live footage :drool:

)

Actually, Raine did say that somewhere. I remember reading/hearing it and thinking "wow... ouch". I have no idea if it was possibly a written article and a mis-quote or what... but yeah, I've read it before.

I don't. I mean at least if we're going down a road we know, we won't be stranded in some ditch with a flat tire God knows how many miles away from civilization, while the only human life within a week's walking distance is some hick's cabin who's hobbies are painting pictures of naked dudes using chicken's blood, making his own wings out of feathers and jumping off his roof and putting his rotten teeth into an empty old soup can and shaking it to a square dance type of rhythm, all while claiming "I WROTE THIS NEXT SONG!"

I lost alot of respect I had for Raine when he said those things. And when I say alot, I mean alot.
