Ugh, Corey Cross was terrible. I'd much rather have Aki Berg than Cross...

It's hard to believe he was drafted 3rd overall. He really hasn't become the defensemen everyone thought he'd be.
I'm finding all of the signings and the other things that have came with the CBA to be refreshing. I don't remember watching so many hockey shows than I have in the last few days finding out who has gone where.
I'm super excited because my good friend Paul Bissonette is going to be playing with Mario and Sidney this year! He signed a 3 year deal with the penguins yesterday at 600,000/year.

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

what the flying fuck...
edmonton just threw away a very big piece of their future for a lot... they had best sign him to a palatable deal (like.. 4-5 mil per for somewhat long term) or kevin lowe will/should have some sense beat into him heh

ST. LOUIS - St. Louis Blues Senior Vice President & General Manager Larry Pleau announced the club has traded defenceman Chris Pronger to the Edmonton Oilers for defencemen Eric Brewer, Doug Lynch and Jeff Woywitka.
"Eric Brewer has been a premier defenseman in the National Hockey League for the past several seasons and we are very excited about the talents he brings to the Blues," said Pleau. "We are also adding two skilled younger defensemen who are clearly up-and-coming players at this level. We're looking forward to having all three of these players in our lineup together one day in the future."Details to follow.
