Pre-Order

If I Pre-Order from amzon.com, or overstock.com, stuff like that. Will HIPT come on that day Augest 30, 2005. Or will I have to wait for it to be shipped and everything? Anyone know?

You probably won't get it the same day, but you can select different delivery options on amazon.com. They go up in cost based on the speed of delivery you choose.

ok thanks and sorry about posting it in the wrong post. I just don't know if Best Buy will have it Augest 30, 2005. I don't want to buy it at a music store because the jack up their prices.

Understandable. I'm guessing we'll have it the day it comes out. Since we match competition, I usually comp cd's I buy at work with Best Buy. They have the lowest price on cd's around here, usually $9.98 on new releases.

You know what I'm going to take my chances someone will have it on Augest 30, 2005. My freind works at WalMart maybe he can get it for me when if Best Buy doesn't have.

YOU WHA!!! I can't find any cds for $9.98 at wal-mart! Well maybe in the barbain bin, but Canadian wal-mart blows ass!

They do? Where I live, the best dvd selection is at CD Warehouse, or Amazon.ca. Wal-Mart is crap here.

i pre ordered the OLP live dvd and it was supposed to be released on the tuesday and i received it in the mail on the monday before

so it is possible if you pre-order it that you will have it on aug 30

it actually depends if they have it in stock or not.. I have pre-ordered stuff and gotten it shipped before the *OFFICAL* release date..

I am going to get it at BESTBUY.. I am sure it will be something like $9.99 or even Circuit CIty.. They always have the CD's cheap.. Plus since they are playing here the day after it is very possible they might have it out at the show.. I know with AMERICAN HI-FI. if you pre-ordered their cd ( at the shows), You were given a voucher to pick it up at the store day of release. The only thing is by pre-ordering it you got an EP/Poster at the shows..

most cd's I pre-ordered I got within a few days of release..

Yeah, i'm going to go to Best Buy, because with the shipping cost, it cost a lot. Will be a little higher though because its a dualdisc?

My experience with amazon is that they don't send new releases until the day of release (maybe the day before) so you won't get it until a few days after the release. I've had good luck going straight through Sony. I think it's sonymusicstore.com or something like that. I usually get CDs a day or even 2 before release. A lot of times they'll send some sort of a bonus with preorders too, but not all the time. It will say if they are sending something like that.

You beat me to it, Troy. I was just about to suggest Sony's online store. I got the Oasis album probably 4 days before it actually came out.
