I went to see REM in Hyde Park last night and they were REALLY good. 80,000 people all singing along = lots of fun. It was kind of a singles-heavy setlist, but there were some other great oldies thrown in too. It was the last night of the tour and they were in great spirits - they did Nightswimming and Michael Stipe sat on top of the piano/keyboard thing and was ruffling Mike Mills's hair. Then he just put his feet on the keyboard and Mike kept on playing and then at the end Michael leant down and gave him a kiss which seemed to confuse him a little! Ooooh and Patti Smith came on to do E-bow the Letter with them - that was amazing. And I got to see Livi (who some of you know) for the first time in about 18 months which was really great

Bloc Party/The Kills- For Roseland -tomorrow

Institute( featuring Gavin Rossdale) Bowery-Next Wednesday..

that is not including the tickets I bought yesterday for OLP and Gavin in LA..

It is times like these I wish I worked for a security company( for concerts)... :lol:

My next concert is Fri July 29th. Duran Duran at HOB in Alantic City.. It is one of my friend's b-day. A bunch of us are going. Should be fun. Then OLP/Billy Idol on Sun July 31st..
