Not to mention that it's fucking dangerous. People have been killed and entire projects destroyed in the aviation/scientific/space exploration community because of miscommunications as to whether measurements were standard or metric. It's just a stupid and unnecessary complication. And llike Lori says, the metric system is so much simpler and rational, that it reduces error factors.

My neighbours went away for a week.

I'm supposed to feed their bird and water their flowers.

They didn't give me a key, and the house is locked up tight.

I want to see Our Lady Peace or ANYTHING from the Canadian concert, but they haven't shown ANY of that concert yet. They're only showing Philadelphia and London. They did show Shakira from Paris, but that's it. Oh yeah, and Good Charlotte from Tokyo. :(

I'm watching CTV and since the show started all they've shown was Barrie footage. There are occasional snippits from other places but thats it. This morning I woke up to U2 and Coldplay. That was cool. :D

The best part was when Barrie booed Vegas and Celine Dion. That was the best moment yet.

Robbo, I suggest looking for a spare key like in a light fixture or under a mat or something or just throw a brick in a window. I mean, you could let the flowers die, thats okay. But the birdy must be fed!

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I checked the mat, and there was nothing under it, just dead bugs.

I'm hoping that my dad (who's at a wedding right now) still has the key from the last time they went away.

There are going to be all kinds of 'best of' shows tomorrow from what I hear.

I feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Today I'm having my 19th Birthday party and I've been talking to one of the guys from TBM all day via email.

Its too bad my mom wants to ruin everything.

I either completely missed U2 and OLP, or they didn't show them on Vh1.

they played U2, a little bit of it anyway. I saw "Beautiful Day" and then I saw Paul McCartney come out and sing Sgt. Pepper's with them.
