okay...raine was on edge 102 today in phone interview and he mostly talked about how none of the artists are getting paid, and that the bands are paying their own way there and for themselves and their crews.....and he said they will be going on around 5:00 to play a few songs
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?

I was pretty amped about the Live 8 thing until I heard that each band was only going to play 3 or so songs. I would've been really disappointed to drive 4 hours to see 3 songs. Can't wait till edgefest though!

I don't know about Canada, but on MTV they are going to air the most popular acts of the day etc.. Only XM and AOL are carrying complete shows from the concerts. I read it this morning in the paper. If we get any artist from Canada it would probably be the BNL or Simple Plan since they are more known here then OLP..

There was this whole write up in the paper today about it.. I only hope these shows accomplish what they set out to do. Also I read something sort of disturbing about the acts playing Philly. They are getting Gift Bags for performing. Which says to me you aren't really doing it because you believe in the cause, but because you are getting free stuff. Some of those gift bags are worth thousands and thousands of dollars. Well just goes to show how greedy we truly are. Even when we agreeto do a free performance we are still getting paid. If I was one of these people I donate it to cahrity and money raised send to the one or make poverty history campaigns.

I have also been getting emails saying that lawn seats for Tweeter, PNC, and SPAC for upcoming shows are being released this weekend. .

forgot to add that The Philly show will have the Decalration of Indepence there. This is 1 of 25 copies that exist.. It was obtained cause Bob Shriver( one of the organizers) got his sister( Maria) and Gov Arnold to get it on loan for them.. It is on display at one of Maria's musuems in Cali..That would nic eto see since it is over 200 years old..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

apparently they had a setlist for the Barrie shows lineup in the Toronto Sun, on Thursdays edition, I didn't pick it up though...but apparently "Superman's Dead" is one of the songs being played, and they are scheduled for 3 songs

"Superman's Dead"?? I hope that's true. That would make up for "Innocent" (if they do play "Innocent").
And if I don't make it known that
I've loved you all along
Just like sunny days that
We ignore because
We're all dumb and jaded
And I hope to God I figure out
What's wrong

Cool stuff...

From the interview it seems that all the band members had a lot of creative clashes in trying to make "an album better than the last one."...
