alright, i checked with my mom for this symbol and now i'm sure...andrea's avatar is pronounced "hay" and it can have a number of meanings: breath (definitely NOT breathe :lol:

...it has to be coupled with another symbol to become that verb), gas, air, etc.

the middle one is for peace. here is a picture of the symbol. one of the left is the one i have.

nice. now THOSE are the most precise symbols for peace, i'm sure of that. they are pronounced "waw ping". good job :mrgreen:

here is the one for hope i like. i tis on the left side.

that too, is perfect. pronounced "hay mong" whoever gave you these symbols did a good job.

The first one on the left gail posted is the one I was talking about that's often marketed as "harmony." It's almost exactly the same as the Symbol the use in life for "Peace"

oh sorry, you're right, i mixed the last two up. the last symbol does mean peace in a sense but it's still not as accurate without the second symbol "ping" that gail had.

to revise my previous description of the three symbols in the Life video...well, if you consider the last symbol to mean "peace" or "harmony" on its own, collectively the symbols still mean "married dame" "for everyone" "peace"

in the end, the symbols in the life video are still a really bad translation.

Ya it's the canadian equivalent to ABC/CBS/NBC. You don't need cable to have it. It plays quite a bit of Canadian content but also shows most of the hit American shows (Desperate housewives, Idol, Jon Stewart's Daily Show, etc...)
