I saw Seven Mary Three on Wednesday night at a small club/restaurant in Johnson City, TN. A local taper in Knoxville got us put on the guest list so I didn't have to pay, plus he got permission to get a line-in to the soundboard, as well as running audio from the crowd. Plus I had permission to film, so we'll be making a sweet dvd out of it. I had never heard any of the band's stuff before, but I enjoyed their music and thought they put on a solid show, with lots of crowd participation. I would check them out again if they play near me.

yep it is at showboat. they put a HOB there.. They open it next month. Goo to the hobsite for upcoming shows. There are alot ot interesting acts coming there... I don;t know if SHowboat is associated with them beyond the HOB on their property..

Man the Pixies are everywhere. I didn;t stay to see them at the festival I was at. Not a Pixie fan although I do like U MASS. they also just played here with Interpol and LCD Soundsystem. A bunch of Interpol fans I know went.. they said the Pixies were good.
