ok well keep in mind when you read this that i am a HUGE faint fan and not as big a fan of bright eyes. that said, the show was amazing. this is the 3rd time i've seen the faint and they definitely had the most energy going into this show, which was just awesome. they played some old stuff which was pretty cool, and some songs off of wet from birth that they didn't play on their last tour.

as for bright eyes, this was my first time seeing them/him so i don't know how he usually does his live show, but i don't think he's made for a bigger rock type show if that makes any sense. there was the faint as his backup band and then a couple of more musicians. there were 2 people on drums which was cool, but, and i don't know if the sound was just way off, it really drowned out his voice because everything else was so loud. and he used the faint's screens which was kind of weird, but it worked i guess.

mars black opened and i didn't know what to expect because i had never heard of them, and it was a rapper. i'm not a rap person but he was actually pretty good, entertaining at least.

im looking foward to seeing the faint more than bright eyes. And i heard the faint are covering Neutral Milk Hotel, which would be sweet. I saw a setlist that said the Faint are playing 16 songs, is that true?

yea i dont think conor is cut out to play in this style. From what I have read everyone said the Faint played better than him.

This has been turning into such a lucky week for me. I got tickets for u2 tomorrow months ago. Tonight Coldplay is playing a show for AOL( it is on line at 9pm I think) I was going to try and get in. I even put anad on craigs list..

I was on line last night just looking through ticket master and I went to see if by some chance U2 tickets were released.. They released Floor tickets for tonight.. YEAH...  SO now I am going tonight and tomorrow. Plus someone answered my ad to give me a Coldplay ticket.. so I feel very lucky.. Oh course I am not going to Coldplay.

I am so excited about U2. you all know next to OLP, U2 are my favorite band. I can't wait to go.. Also going with 3 friends who I always see U2 with so should be fun.. :D

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

i just got back from seeing murder by death and against me!

it was easily one of the top 5 shows i have seen.

murder by death were crazy and the new songs are amazing...plus they played their instrumental.

against me! were sick..i have never seen a band who cares about their fans so much...if you are a fan...you will have lots of fun and if not it is great to sit back and watch it all.

the other two bands that are playing arent so great but it should be a good show.

I'm not a huge Against Me! fan, I only downloaded them after hearing they were playing with Murder By Death but I'm quite excited just the same.

Liam.

Coldplay are playing here in Sept.. I saw Coldplay about 4 years ago when Parachutes was out.. I was front row so i am not too upset about missing them...Plus I got to meet them..

I had a blast at the U2 show. Great view of the band. they played for a little over 2 hours. they did a nice mix of old and new. it was great for me to see some of those songs done live again..

What night are you going to the Fleet Center?. I am trying to get tickets for the 28th( closing night of the tour)..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I just got tickets to see Weezer and Tegan & Sara on the 15th of June yay :D

Then I get to see T&S again headlining the next night!
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
