does everyone love that word as much as I do?
This is my story both humble and true,
Take it to pieces and mend it with glue.

i have to say i managed to record the clip of the angels song and i really am starting to love this song its very nice even the lyrics too- i wish i had heard it first, then maybe i wouldn't have ranted so much- but still, only one really good song outta 7 isn't getting my hopes up too high- and i still hate best day if that makes the album i might have to kill someone- or something like that- and yes, i meant a couple of steps, not octaves on somewhere out there- i was just saying it seems stupid to write songs the singer can't always sing . . .like he struggles playing live innocent and not enough too wen he has to go really high in his normal voice- why not just rework the song a bit rather than use technology to bend his voice in the studio- thats why angels is so good becuz his voice is just perfect on top of it and it sounds so natural. . .this is some of the better vocal work hes done i think :)

I'm pretty sure BEST DAY will make the cut. I like the song a lot to, it's different.

you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

I think all the songs made the cut. They're not trying to throw us off, they're not U2. The label just wanted an opinion.

ya i agree id bet money all of them make it maybe like 1 won't- cuz i heard some green day and switchfoot songs in my listening and those were all on their latest albums- so its more than likely we just heard a preview of just about all of the album- if u throw in vampires and not afraid thats wat 9? they haven't had more than 11 on an album yet- but maybe they'll surprise us and throw out like 13 or something thatd be nice- car crash rocks i was actually just listening to that today i really wish i could hear that live but they dont play too many non-singles of old live anymore

Vampires is already there, it's under the name "World on a String." Or so I assume. I don't think "Weight of the Lord" is on the list though.

Yeah, World on a String (which was possibly Vampires) is interesting. It definitely does seem to have morphed quite a bit since last summer. The lyrics and general idea of the song are pretty much the same, but the tone is extremely different. I think how they wrote some of the tracks for this album was similar to how they wrote songs for gravity. i can't remember where raine said it, but he said something about mixing choruses and verse's from different songs. i could be wrong though.

I don't know why you think WORLD ON A STRING is VAMPIRES? I mean, c'mon. There's only 1 line (YOU'LL BRING ME BACK TO LIFE) that's similar. And if you listen to WILL THE FUTURE BLAME US, they use the line the same kind of lines from NOT AFRAID (about the roads winding or something). I just think they switched around some of the lyrics. I'd bet VAMPIRES is a song on the CD called VAMPIRES and it is almost exactly the same lyrically as it was before, just some changes here and there. The sound though, may be way different.

that is a pretty big similarity.

i'm not saying that world on a string is vampires. i'm saying that vampires may have been cut, but they may have kept some of the lyrics for other songs.

yes such groundbreaking news. We now have confirmation on which quarter of the year it will be out.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I think I might need to change the command for him from "gravity" to "bobrock".
