well i think there was some question about whether they took the OLP stuff off this site cuz some people weren't getting the songs- i had to wait a ridiculously long time but FINALLY got "don't stop"- its alright the music part actually is better than what i thought it would be kinda mellow and light- but the lyrics are really cliche and uninteresting- but im dying to hear the rest so hopefully they will actually come up soon- either way its nice to hear more new stuff- hopefully the album will be released sometime before the year 2182

Joke or not, that's the kind of totally rude and uncalled for comment that will get you banned. Next time you say something offensive (which you obviously KNEW would upset people, considering you gave it a disclaimer), you're gone.

Any opinions on World on a String?

I thought that is was kind of like Stealing Babies but in a way that makes sense to the album. Thats a good thing!

Someone back there said that we know that this isn't Gravity rehashed.
Did we honestly ever expect that? No two OLP albums have ever sounded alike. Why did you think they would start with this cd?

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Cos people lost complete faith in the band just because they didn't like one album they put out.

Thanks Nikki, but I think she should be banned. There is no reason to make fun of disabled people, even though I am not one. If I had read this sooner I would have flamed the hell out of her Alan style that's for sure.

Anyone else agree that she needs to be banned?

I mean I've given people attitude in the past but I never ever said anything as derogatory as using a disibility as an insult.

I absolutely can't stand the beginning of it. It just... doesn't sound goot to my ears. The tone of the bass... But after that it's all good!

Im gonna break down my opinon on each song briefly for anyone who cares:

Don't Stop: My absolute favourite, the chorus is great, everthing is great on this one

Angel's Losing Sleep: Holy Ghost was a better title, song is pretty good, falsetto is back and thats a good thing....very U2ish

Picture: I absolutely love the guitar, good ballad, maybe a radio single

Will The Future Blame Us: Don't Ask Why is a much better title, the song is kinda catchy, i like it, i liked it since i heard it on the 2003 greeting

World On A String: The guitar just does not seem OLP to me at all, well really the whole song just seems like it shouldn't be OLP, but the overall harmony of the song is catchy...very very different though

The Best Day Of Your Life: Not bad, kinda catchy, but as much as i like faster stuff, i think this one was better as a little bit slower tune like on the 2004 greeting

Wipe That Smile Off Your Face: I loved this song before, but it is ruined by the delayed guitar and keyboards

Vampires: This one i like more now after hearing the new stuff, cause its faster and edgier, the guitar is great

Not Afraid: Great song...needs to be on the album to save it

so thats my humble opinon of each song
Is there something good, something more?
Is there anything worth dying for?
