i don't like Motley Crue.

But anyway, do you think raine will say anything about the new album at the tsunami thinger. he probably won't. but i really want him to address the new album.

that would explain why the song is so tame. For Motley at least. I never listened to it. I would turn it off. But yesterday I actually listen to it when the video played..

Next OLP Album title is Vampires. Jeremy's interview in Modern Drummer says that. The issue hit stores today.

Yeah, I saw the video the first time it aired... I shut it off like halfway through. Horrible. Course... I'm not much of a Crüe fan, but still.

Speaking of the new album. the title is apparently Vampires.

That title blows. Obviously, you can't really tell about the album from it, but still.

i fucking hate Vampires for an album name. i hate the word vampires itself. the music in the album better make up for it.

I'm not too shure how or if I like the title Vampires, but i'm shure it has some political twist to it. Maybe calling some big political figures Vampires like say.... Bush? Anyways if it is the name of the album, there must be a reason behind it wich we'll soon find out...

I am not at ALL a fan of "Vampires" as the title, "Unusual Ammount of Common Sense" was such an awesome title, but I guess they wanted a title theam people could say over and over and avoid the problem that i suppose arose after "Happiness....Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch."
The title of the album isn't all that important but it does kind of set the tone for the CD. I loved the name "Spiritual Machines," and the fact that the song "Vampires" may be on the album just kind of kills it, I don't like CD's named after a single track. That's just me though.

Kind of a harsh opinion for an album name...

I agree with your last point. It always seemed like a bit of a cop-out to me. It's too obvious. It's fine if it's a particularily great line from a song - but a song title is too obvious.

Having said that, it's not a big deal at all. Naveed and Clumsy aren't any less great for their names, are they?

Yeah, that's true. Those albums were named after specific songs and they could arguably be their best efforts thus far.
Now that I think about it (and I know this is really early) but does this mean that
"Vampires" could potentially be a single?
