I remember being a young obsessed fan like that.
Takes me back, it does.
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Anyone other than me just happen to have liked everything OLP they've heard as of yet (not just because "OMG, IT'S OLP, I HAVE TO LIKE IT!!!111)"? :P If they put out something I don't like... I won't like it... but I won't obsess about it like some of you people. Eesh. *runs*

"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

ya far too many people here need to move on a bit. It's fine to like the band but the obsessing and the withdrawl is kinda sad. Guys it's only music from one band who has past their prime. There are millions of other bands. Go listen to them.

That's... not what I meant. I was referring to the people who whine about the band "sucking" now just because they don't like the music. We get it already. You don't like it. No need to obsess about it and mention it every time somethin's mentioned that you can possibly turn into a negative comment. :P

You all know that I love you all, though.

<< confused too
but im sticking by OLP with whatever they do. im a proud fan of all their albums. i happen to love the new stuff and Gravity was brilliant.
every album is different, and its a fact. some people need to understand that. OLP are never ever the same. and im hoping that this one will be just as different as Clumsy was Naveed...
Happiness was to Clumsy...
SM was to Happiness...
Gravity was to SM...

They rock and i think they've got another 2 or 3 albums left in them for sure. With the new production team and Steve. i dont see why the new stuff being different is bad... its imminent. and GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!!!

I like the new stuff... a lot a lot. I am excited about the new album, but since I got to see them like recently, I'm not as rabid as I once was over getting the new album. :P

Not afraid isn't my favorite song of the new ones. I like Picture a lot, but of the mass heard ones, WTSOYF has potiential to be a favorite.
