Weezer has announced that the recording sessions for their new album, their first since 2002’s Maladroit, will be completed this week. With the return of frontman Rivers Cuomo from Harvard University, the band plans to put the finishing touches on the album to be released in the spring.

AND

The Barenaked Ladies are in talks about getting their own variety show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the band will shoot a pilot for FOX for a show tentatively titled The Barenaked Ladies Variety Show, which will feature the bandmembers playing caricatures of themselves MTV reports.

I'm not feeling Vertigo too much...but then again I thought Beautiful Day was crappy and now it's pretty much my favorite. I'm not judging it until I hear it in conjunction with the rest of the album. I heard it comes out on the 25th...but isn't that a Thursday? Which also happens to be Thanksgiving.

Comes out on the 23rs. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving.

See thats because Columbus was a dumbass, who "found"[where there not several others?] America by accident. So we forget about him, and instead have a thanksgiving that Canada was founded by someone else. :lol:

This "life-changing" letter took her a week to write. "I owe it to my fans, they need to read it," she said.
