we have Hawksley Workman for our school concert on October 1st. Not too sure if I'll go.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

i went to dcfc and it was fun. they did really well. they also played with rocky volotato. he was pretty good as well. There was a lot of people there.
Wilco is playing at my schooool! But unfortunately unlike death cab it is not free. It is 40$ for the public and 20$ for students. I think i'm gonna buy tickets though, cause Wilco would be an awesome show.

It's only thanksgiving dinner... she can eat turkeys for the rest of her life if she wants.
I got my tickets for the MG toronto show... 2 tickets came to 80$... It better be worth it cause I've never spent this much on a concert.

denied junkie is a he.
where is matt playing? $40.00 isn't bad. I think that is about what I paid in June. Maybe a few $ cheaper.

Koolhaus. It was $32.50/ticket, and then some sort of convenience fee which came to 40 bucks each.

that isn't bad. Down here a ticket for $32.50 will cost you about $45.00 with service charges. I hate that. Sometimes the charges can be as much as the actual ticket.

I saw The Decemberists w/ The French Kicks tonight
The French Kicks were pretty bad and were a rip off version of the strokes/boring faint. Decemberists were pretty good and sounded similar to they do on cd. They had some interesting instruments including a stand up bass, whirlizzer, flute/piano thing, and lots of keyboards. They didnt play many songs that I wanted them to but what can you do. They did spaz out at the end and the keyboardist girl who was a bit odd started to pound on the keys with her tambourine while the lead singer laid on the floor playing with the other guitarist scratching his guitar against the side of the stage during "I was mean for the stage"
