you have to, you just have to trust me
whoever i was then i can't ever be again
the faith you've found i've never felt
the terror held in wedding bells
the comfort in "there's no one else"
the truth be told, i'm never going to know

Muse is opening for them, right?

I guess to see The Cure too, but I'm going mostly for Interpol.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

for thos e going to the Cure show it goes as follows.

2 stages. each band(main stage ) plays about 50 minutes.
2nd stage plays 25-35 minutes. there is 5 minutes between each band.

I forgot who opened. but line up was

2nd stage 4:05PM-4:35PM
Main-MOgwai-4:40PM-5:35PM
2nd stage- Melissa-5:40-6:05
Main-Rapture-6:10-7:10
2nd stage- Thursday-7:15-7:40
Main-Interpol-7:45-8:45
2nd stage- Muse-8:50-9:15
Main-The Cure:-9:20-11:45PM

The times may be off, but the order is right. I was front row for main stage so I missed the 2nd stage cause it was a pain to walk over and get back to see main acts. Besides the Cure I really wanted to see Muse and Interpol. I missed Muse. Oh well they only played about 1/2 hour anyway.

Interpol was incredible. I had to laugh cause the guitar player looks like Steve and the bass player looks like Crispin Glover. They were awesome. I took photos, but unfortunately they were still in my purse when I got mugged.

Also Mogwai was interesting and was the rapture. I wish they Cure did more older tunes. THey only did a handful of *classics* I am happy they did In Between Days though. That is my favorite Cure song. They were good, but I just wish they did some older songs.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

I also wanted to say I went to Project Revolution last week.

I missed the smaller acts cause I had to work. I think the villiage and gates opened at 2PM.

I didn't see the USED. I saw Snoop, Korn  and Linkin Park

Snoop was good. Korn was amazing. They did a cover of Cameo's *word up* and Pink Floyd's- *another brick in the wall*.

Linkin Park was also really good. They brought out Snoop on one song, the singer from the used on another song and Jonathan Davis for One Step Closer(last song)

They did a NIN song. I forgot the title. of it. Every band played about an hour, but LP played almost 2 hours.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Yep!!. We were front row infront of Duff. He gave me his pick during Use To Love Her and Dave gave me a pick. I didn't develop the photos yet.

I don't know if you saw them or not, but they had been doing as the last song cover songs. It has been either Nirvana's Negative Creep, or The Sex Pistols'- Bodies . They did Cheap Trick's Surrender. It was awesome. When we saw Duff after the show I told him they should drop Crackerman, and put in Unglued into Mean Machine.

If you get SIRIUS radio they are broadcasting a live VR show/interview on August 22nd. at 7pm and repeated at 10PM. I heard it is the LA show. I have that on CD. It is awesome. I have 5 bootlegs now so if you want a show let me know. I have Toronto, Chicago, NYC, Washington and LA.

I'd love the shows. :D Plus getting the picks is awesome too.... but I'm am terribly jealous. I'm actually glad that I didnt go to the show in Latrobe because of the weather. The fairground is all mud and it poured the whole day. so.. yea. But I read reviews and they played Surrender and Negative Creep. I would have love to have gone for the music. But I didnt get to go...... I'd like to see them pictures too :D
