saw incubus last night...and paid $15 for PARKING FOR UNDER 3 HOURS!!! THAT IS 7 cents a minute to park my car!!!!
I cannot understand how this isnt prohibited or regulated.
Sparta was amazing but only played for a 1/2 hour and there was not many people there for them. They didnt play Cut Your Ribbon which made me mad! The new stuff sounded good.
Incubus was alright the new stuff sounded kind of choppy and hard to understand. They played a few old songs that were good including Vitamin, Idiot Box, Certain Shade of Green, Just a Phase, Echo and also Pardon Me which I hadnt seen in the set from all the past shows I hadnt seen on. They also did a kick ass 10 minute drum solo during Vitamin but other then that their Jams kind of sucked and became annoying. Oh yea and the place was about 1/2 full so we got to move to front row of the 200's! They still looked like tiny dots on stage though.

i really enjoyed incubus, but yeah, i agree with some of their longers jams. i really really liked the 10 minute drum solo thing though. for buying tickets a few hours before we got amazing seats, but that's understandable because there was like, no one there, lol.
i really enjoyed sparta, but i too was dissapointed that they didn't play cut your ribbon.

be thankful you only payed $9.00. Down here we have to pay almost $15.00.
They have this new thing in the Charges called Vacility Charge $3.00. You have to pay $3.00 to go to the arena

what is bad is no box office sale when they go on sale. You are forced to use TM. I hate it. They charge way too much. I was talking with a friend last night. I said remember the days when what it cost you for parking or service charge was the price of a ticket.

Simon & Garfunkel were amazing. They may be old, but they can play and sing just like they used to

Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Yup, the S&G show I went to also ROCKED!
and I've decided not to go to Warped Tour. why? because it will be hot and there will be a lot of stupid people there, plus there will be only about 3 bands I actually care about and I've already seen them all.

i'm going to see kevin devine today all by my lonesome. i wouldn't care if it was a big place and he was going on late. but it's a tiny place and he opens. sooo i'll pretty much be the loser who goes early all alone and stands in the shadows of the corner. but i have to go. because it's kevin devine.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

you really didn't miss a whole lot. i mean, he sounded awesome of course and The Goddamn Band were great, but they only had time to play like 5 or 6 songs, including an eliot smith cover. so i was kind of disappointed. i need to see him again.
as a sidenote, action-action were awesome. they sounded fresh and unique and the lyrics would pass for intelligent. you don't get that every day. plus, i think i'm actually in love with the bass player.
as a sidenote on top of that sidenote, plain white ts, who kevin was opening for, SUCKED. they were very very mundane, very blah.
