You do need the rain for lot's of things.

It fills up our reservoirs:

without it we would have
no drinking water
no water to put out fires
no water to shower, wash or brush our teeth

it also helps plant life and crops grow. which in turn gives us food.

I have always been fasicinated by rain. Maybe cause I am a water sign. I just don't like gettting caught in the rain when I am on my way somewhere and you get soaked to the bone. Then half the times I laugh it off anyway. I have been caught in torrential downpours before.

overall I love the rain. Espeically the scent it leaves.

Storms are something else. Those could be harmful, but rain is helpful tous. We need it to survive life.

I remember in 2000. From March to August it seemed to rain non-stop. We got rain almost everyday. Then we had the drought 2001 where we got no rain or snow, then we got alot again(late 2002-2003).It is so weird. I rather be oversaturated then not.

What part of BC? I was in Vancouver, North Vancouver and Victoria in 2000.

I put some MG photos up in his thread. Did you get to see them?
