i agree muchly and at first i was excited because i thought this meant SR was playing too but they are not. We are more going to just walk around and stuff catch some of Rooneys set then go and watch Electric Six probably who are also playing that night on the second stage.
Go on July 4th and check out Blanche with me. They're pretty good.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
i saw cake tonight for free at the tastefest. they were good, but their music was way too relaxing and made me tired. i heard thunderbirds are now! on another stage, but realized it was them after they stopped.
oh and i got free krispy kreme donuts because the booth was closing. awesome.
i decided spur of the moment to buy tickets to see Incubus w/ Sparta next Friday b/c tickets were only $20 with no charges for today only. You cant beat that even if it is shitty seats, I want to see Sparta again.
hmm to go see rooney and electric six or to not. how was the rest of the taste fest?
All I have to say is Thunderbirds Are Now! fucking own all. I've seen them three times, and they entertain me all the time. The guy on keys is a madman I say.

yeah i saw them once on the day that my favorite music cafe place in wyandotte closed down, they put on an amazing show.
anyway, the rest of the tastefest is pretty sweet. free starbucks. umm, free brandnew stickers and get up kids stickers .... a skateboarding place? that's all the free i can think of. it was so much fun though, i'm going back on saturday to see Jet.

yeah i probably would've made some attempt at seeing this show had it not been at the palace. i mean really, why would any band play an arena for any other purpose than feeding their egos? i mean, yeah it's a large venue and it = more fans can see them, but really at that place a good 75% of the audience is not getting a good concert experience in my opinion for the price they paid. i'm not talking about the $20, that's really good, but most people probably have paid $40+ for seats in the 200 levels and up.
yea well somehow they have become so damn popular and its not fair to fans if they play smaller places. I think their popularity is going down and they could have done an amphitheatre tour. I saw them at Madison Square Garden and it sold out in only a week. That is crazy but that is what one hit song gets you. There are no other good shows coming up so I figured I would go to this. I mean any time Ticketmaster doesnt convinence shit its a miracle so that is also why I bought them. Tickets were normally $45 after charges for any seats.

I going to a taping of LIT at Carson Daly on the 6th. My Next concert is July 16th. Prince, unless something comes up sooner. I want to see Butch Walker with American Hi-Fi.
