good point, half the reason i would go to a AS concert would be to see some Soundgarden songs, such as 4th of July
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

I really hate how people are calling Audioslave and Velvet Revover super groups  cause they compose of memebers of well known, loved bands.

they are new bands with memebers of previous bands. A supergroup to me is a band compose of members of existing bands as a side project ect. Not a completely new band.

saddest thing though is you won't really get to hear/see G n'R, STP, SG and RAM songs done live. Sure the bands will do a few covers of their former bands, but it is not the same. Pity though cause all the bands had some great songs.

BTW. I love VR cause Iam a big Scott, Slash, Duff and Matt fan. I saw them last month and it was amazing. Hoping to go to their Atlantic City show in 2weeks.

Man oh man did you butcher the word PILOTS...

This album is very good reminds me alot of Oleander with better guitarwork and lyrics. I enjoy scott, though i wish he did more range on his vocals like he did with STP

Great Band, brutal name, but great band. I never really cared for G'n'R mainly because of Axl, and I never really cared for STP because they had some really poppy songs and Scotty's voice was all deep in most of their songs. I'm glad to see Scott is using his real voice for VR. This is what rock is meant to sound like. Favourite Songs: Slither, set Me Free, Suckertrain, and Illegal song.

Apparently, you've never heard Tiny Music, or Shangri-La Dee Da. His voice was in top form on SLDD. I know a lot of people didn't like that album, but it was the band's best -- a fitting swan song that doesn't get enough credit. It was also the only album that Scott recorded completely clean, apparently. It has some filler, but the rest makesup for it.

Who does Audioslave have in it? I wasn't aware they were made up of members of old groups...

Chris Cornell from Soundgarden and the music comes from everyone not named Zack from Rage Against the Machine.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

First off, like i mentioned i never really cared for STP, so i'm not a big fan. Sorry if I haven't heard all their songs and albums. But I have heard one song off SLDD, I think like Days of the week or something, is that right? And you're right his voice is not deep on that song. But on most of the STP songs I have heard, Scott's voice is deep. which brings me to my next point. What i meant when I said it's not his real voice is that if you have heard him talk or sing VR songs or some STP songs you will realize that his kind of deep, Pearl Jam-ish type voice is not his real voice.
