There's a girl at school that I'm chill w/ that keeps telling me to go to Warped w/ her but I dunno... I'm gonna HATE half of the bands that play, so it would be a waste of time and energy.

Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

can you go on your own? I go to shows on my own cause my friends and I have different taste. Or like you they can't make it.

I don't really get tickets in advance anymore cause 9X out of 10, tickets are released the day of the show. You end up with better seats.
that's what my friends and I do when we want to see the same show.
also elimates the problem of someone cancelling on you and you are stuck with an extra ticket.

2 more days till Matt. Yeah.

So I saw Belle & Sebastian again last night - a free concert in a little venue for the alternative radio station here in London. They are always so amazing. The banter between the songs is great, watching they swap instrument mid song shows just how talented they all are. And the ended up changing the setlist to take requests at the end - even things they hadn't played for ages and had to stand on stage working out how to play! And they got a guy up on stage to sing Dirty Dream #2 and he kept forgetting the words :)

I think my friend and I might start stalking them around the country soon! Which is funny considering one of my housemates at uni did that about 7 years ago and ended up friends with them - maybe we'll bump into her somewhere :D

I don't know how much it would cost you, but it's really worth it. And you can still sing along and dance about even without knowing the names of the songs.

I really need to get the more recent albums as I only have the first three.
