2 days til I finally get to see the Pixies

I just ordered my official bootleg CD.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

I'd like to see both bands, but then I'd be accused of jumping on the "cool" bandwagon.

Oh please woman, I've been on these bands loooong before anyone heard of them. I've seen the Von Bondies play shit holes, just because MTV thinks they're good now doesn't mean I should abandon them. I will leave when they come out with a follow-up album as good as Gravity. Hah.

Ahh yesh, people don't understand my humor. My girlfriend likes it when I call her "woman" like that, so I've gotten in the habit of that. Its intent is purely comical, so no one should get pissy. Thanks.

It's that much again!? I thought it was only that much because there were so many big bands on it, all the ones on it this time aren't quite so big. Screw that.

My friend is going alone too. No one wants to spend the money. You two should go together.

mmm Broken Social Scene

One time I played You Forgot It In People and my friend was like, "What is this? This is good!" and we stopped at a CD store and she bought it.

People don't usually feel like they need to buy whatever is playing in my car.

Broken Social Scene played a concert in our quad a few weeks ago.

That is insanity. I was so excited.

No no-

I didn't accuse you of liking them just because they're popular now.

My friends would tell me that I was seeing them just because they're popular. I had never heard of them until a few months ago, but that's because I don't get to downtown Detroit all that often.

And I thought it was funny that you called me "woman."

I think he meant that you should see them if you want to see them, screw what your friends think. [glow=blue] [/glow]
