Mafia Video

Post by Axtech »

Starting fresh...

I found this on Oli's site.

• OUR LADY PEACE – Mafia (Right Behind You) • August 2001
Mixed dark illustrated scenes with stylized footage of the band. This video was intended for release outside of Canada.

I now have access to the video. That's right. I now have the MAFIA VIDEO! It was originally intended for release in Australia, but due to things like Mike leaving, Sony decided to not release it.

But now it is in our hot little hands, ready to be spread.

It's got a similar style as In Repair, except darker, and more focus on the band. Absoulutely outstanding.

Now, it is on the hub, ready to download. olp-mafia[2].mov

While downloading, visit Oli's sites!

www.youknit.com (Oli's music)

I'm imploding right now. Due to legality, not much can be said about how I got this. Let's just say that a ninja costume and a plethora of weaponry was involved.

So, keep this under wraps, kiddies.

Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

Whoa! this is so great. I love the part where the 2d picture of Duncan comes out and flips around, and how Raine is behind the guy at the end. So cool !

Wholly shit Rob, you kick ass...........when I woke up 'n got on here I wasn't expecting you to actually have the video already, I just assumed I'd read the correspondence thus far.

Sweet.....there is now a happy ending, my favorite OLP song has an official video. Even though Lando's original is pretty damn smooth too.

I don't think I am able to express how much I love this video already. I won't try because all you'll get is holy shit, whoa, and marriage proposals to Axtech.

Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head

Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

holy mary mother of Jesus that is 'EFFIN AWESOME!!
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.
