Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.
And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
I just saw Finger Eleven this past thursday.
They are like happiness personified. I missed them............
It was basically the same set as July, with a few changes.......but no complaints.
Going to see O.A.R next month. Damn not having a car or money.....limiting my concerts

I saw Counting Crows last night and they were really good - they played Colourblind which is one of my fave songs ever so that made me really happy
My friend won tickets to see Jet and Snow Patrol play at a small venue on Thursday so I get to see Jet again! It's being televised for something, so I need to work out what to wear so I can look out for myself without looking stupid

Snow Patrol were excellent. They were so much rockier than their album - very cool.
Jet played exactly the same set as when I saw them 2 weeks ago - so were ok, but not amazing.

Finger Eleven are coming back in May!!
I love how they haven't played here for like.....5 years, and they will have played here twice in my first year here. I guess they just needed incentive to come
Also, One Line Drawing is coming!!!! WOO HOOO!!!! I am going to buy my ticket today.
p.s. I hate Ticketmaster. I bought my last $10 F11 ticket..........it came out to $20. I mean........ok, 5 or 6 bucks even, but this was came to TWICE the amount of the ticket

Went to see Murder by Death last night at perhaps the best venue anywhere. This place has a air hockey table, foosball table, ping pong and pool table in one room along with vending machines and a bunch of couches. Then in the main room there were like 10 couches, a Gamecube, and a snack bar w/ 50 cent drinks and chips. The walls were like covered in vinyls and a bunch of other cool shit and also there was 5 arcade games in the room too.
Other then the venue the opening bands sucked except for one of four called Armsbendback who were decent. Murder by Death were okay, they only played like 11 songs which is not what i was expecting after hearing they were playing the entire second album in addition to old songs. They did play a 15 minute instrumental at the end which was kick ass and im guessing they close every show with. The celloist is a good time to look at too besides for looks its amazing how she plays the damn thing so fast. Cant complain for $5..a concert, free gamecube and foosball.
[edited: i am a dumbass and realized they played all but "across the dessert" and song #9 from the new cd)

yeah, all of our venues are pretty lame. I want to go to Ima Robot on saturday, but I can't, because I will be in washington for my great grandmothers 100th birthday.
don't look now, just keep watching the TV hating what's too see waiting for someone to say something that's right.
